The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at the new VFW facility, 200 E Louise Street across from Ingles in Clarkesville.
Jeanie Whitworth will be presenting a trunk show of her most recent work at our September meeting. Jeanie is a Hall County resident who has been quilting for about twenty years. Jeanie loves any project involving a hand or machine needle, which includes knitting, crocheting, embroidery, cross stitch, and of course, quilting. She is extremely fortunate to be surrounded by more than one hundred fiber artists in Dawsonville's Heart In Hand Guild, Dahlonega's Golden Stitches Guild, and Habersham's Mountain Laurel Guild, and a Quilting Bee that meets in Jackson EMC building on Dawsonville Highway. The insurmountable knowledge Jeanie has gained from these artists will always be treasured.
If you have a sewing machine to be cleaned or repaired, please contact Pam Prosser at (678) 360-7921 at least a week before the meeting (September 8). We need at least 3 machines to be repaired or cleaned. Michael will also sharpen knives.
We will have basting in advance of the meeting at 10:00am.
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 12:30. Come at 11:30 to socialize and bring your lunch.

12:30 Show and Tell of donation and members' quilts and meeting.
Monthly programs may feature a speaker, trunk show, or twice-yearly festive luncheons.
Meetings usually include door prizes.
